As a token of appreciation for their dedication to educating the youth, The USS Midway Museum offers free single-day admission to active and certified K-12 San Diego County credentialed classroom teachers throughout May 2024. This offer is available exclusively at the Midway ticket booth, where teachers must present their credential ID to receive their complimentary ticket.
The Big Exchange May 1-18, 2024
The Big Exchange offers members and annual pass holders of the USS Midway Museum free general admission to nearly 40 participating arts and cultural destinations in San Diego.
From May 1-18, show your Midway Museum membership card at participating museums’ admissions desk to receive free entry and experience the incredible cultural richness San Diego County has to offer.
If you are a member of a reciprocal museum and wish to visit the USS Midway Museum during the Big Exchange, you must proceed to the Midway Ticket Booth during open hours (10 am – 4 pm). Show your member card from any participating museum for a complimentary reciprocal admission ticket.

Free Admission for Active Duty Military and Reservists
The USS Midway Museum proudly offers free admission to our nation's Active-Duty Military and Active-Duty Reservists. Present your valid identification at the ticket booth on the day of your visit for free same-day admission.
Free admission for children 3 years old and younger, Active Duty Military (w/valid ID), and Reservist. To receive free admission, visit the ticket booth on the day of your visit. All other guests within your party must purchase tickets in advance online.
