Museum Aircraft Inventory Collection Spans WWII and Desert Storm
Meticulously restored aircraft – from World War II to Operation Desert Storm – are on display for all visitors aboard the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum. We are constantly restoring aircraft and adding them to those on display. A sample of our inventory:
- World War II aircraft including the SBD Dauntless dive bomber and TBM Avenger
- Korean War aircraft such as the F9F-8P Cougar and AD Skyraider
- Vietnam aircraft including the F-4 Phantom and Huey gunship
- Desert Storm aircraft such as the A-6 Intruder and F/A-18 Hornet

The museum’s air restoration teams are working on several vintage aircraft that will become part of the USS Midway Museum’s expanding “air wing” on display.
