This Year's Gala Races to the Moon!

On September 4-5, 2009 the San Diego Air & Space Museum and the USS Midway Museum jointly honored America's astronauts of the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo programs, and celebrated the 40th anniversary of the landing on the moon.  It was a huge success and on Saturday, attendees were treated to a very visible flyover by the International Space Station!  It was a sight to behold on the USS Midway Museum flient deck!
