The USS Midway Museum & the San Diego Symphony will honor American businessman Lee Iacocca at this year's gala, Symphony for Freedom. He is known for the design of the Mustang sports car, his revival of the Chrysler Corporation, the restoration of the Statue of Liberty (America’s symbol of freedom) and his life-long dedication to finding a cure for diabetes. Lee Iacocca is an American legend.

This special black-tie Gala “under the stars” features the renowned San Diego Symphony, a musical performance by Frank Sinatra, Jr., and Miss America 2010 singing the National Anthem.
