The USS Midway Museum is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit entity and does not receive any funding from the Navy or the U.S. government.   In order to operate and maintain our historic ship, we rely on revenue from admissions, memberships, and on the generosity of our many corporate and individual donors.  Donations help expand and enhance our exhibits; expand our acclaimed K-12 science, technology, engineering and math (S.T.E.M.) education program; restore historic aircraft; and help cover the ship’s long-term maintenance costs.
