Midway American Patriot Award Gala

We salute the leading sponsors of the USS Midway's annual gala featuring the Midway American Patriot Award, founded in 2007. The first recipient was Bob Hope (posthumously).  In 2008 we were proud to honor the surviving Medal of Honor recipients from World War II. In 2009 we partnered with the San Diego Air & Space Museum to salute the pioneering astronauts of NASA's Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo space programs. The net proceeds from our annual Gala go toward the DJO Inc. “No Child Left Ashore” scholarship program.
