Pearl Harbor wreath tossThe San Diego Pearl Harbor Survivors Association and USS Midway Museum will hold a Pearl Harbor Remembrance on Saturday, Dec. 7, beginning at 9 a.m. There is no admission charge for the annual tradition and event attendees (only) can remain aboard at no cost that morning to enjoy the museum.


The ceremony will include presentations of biodegradable wreaths, taps, prayer, two-bell ceremony, and a gunfire salute by the Maritime Museum of San Diego’s California cutter that will be under way off Midway’s bow. The Maritime Museum’s pilot boat also will join the ceremony and present biodegradable wreaths in remembrance.
