Summer Night Ops

The Midway will be open from 9am-9pm on Wednesday, August 8th. You will be able to see Midway at NIGHT and experience carrier Night Operations.
Special Announcement: Win two tickets to see The Tonight Show with Jay Leno during USS Midway’s Night Ops! Be sure to visit the Midway booth, located in Hangar Bay Two and sign up for your chance to win two tickets to Americas favorite late-night talk show with Jay Leno! A winner will be announced at 8pm and you must be present to win! Tickets must be used before October 31st, 2013. Must be over 16 to win.
During extra hours 5pm – 9pm, you can enjoy:
- Full self-guided audio tour
- Junior Pilot Program available
- Docent led tours of the Island (superstructure above the flight deck)
- CAT and TRAP talks by knowledgeable Docents
- Midway Discovery Zone with try-on uniforms, paper airplane toss, cruise books, and more
- 2-for-1 Flight Simulator (360) rides
- Extended hours for Jet Shop (gift shop)
- The Fantail Cafe will be providing food and drink for purchase, including these great Night Ops specials:
- A Burger and Draft Special
- Fish tacos, chicken or beef nachos, Waldorf Salad, and a sampler plate of appetizers with quesadillas, buffalo wings and mozzarella sticks
- A wine and cheese display where wine enthusiasts can sample from a variety of domestic cheeses
