Boy Scouts of America Programs

Aboard the USS Midway Museum, scouts have the opportunity to complete the Aviation and Radio merit badges. Each carefully crafted merit badge workshop will provide scouts with dynamic hands-on learning activities, expert guidance, and exploration aboard one of the most unique and historic aircraft carriers.

For additional information, please email youthprograms@midway.org.

Per BSA regulations, at least one chaperone must be present with the scout(s) at all times. If a scout does not have a chaperone present, they will not be allowed to participate in the merit badge program.

Program capacity varies between merit badges.

  • Aviation: 10 scout minimum, 30 scout maximum
  • Radio: 5 scout minimum, 16 scout maximum

Individual scouts and troops may sign up for each program. If a session does not meet minimum requirements, the session will be cancelled. Participants will be informed of cancelation 2 weeks before scheduled program.

The USS Midway is excited to offer a brand-new opportunity to both attend the Overnight Adventure program and receive the Aviation Merit Badge. For more information, please email youthprograms@midway.org
