Per Scouting America regulations, at least one chaperone must be present with the scout(s) at all times. If a scout does not have a chaperone present, they will not be allowed to participate in the merit badge program.

Program capacity varies between merit badges.

  • Aviation: 10 scout minimum, 30 scout maximum
  • Radio: 5 scout minimum, 16 scout maximum

Individual scouts and troops may sign up for each program. If a session does not meet minimum requirements, the session will be cancelled. Participants will be informed of cancelation 2 weeks before scheduled program.
