When will tickets go on sale?
Tickets for our July 4th event will go on sale Wednesday, June 7 at 11 AM PDT ONLINE only..

How much are tickets for the July 4th event?
Tickets for Midway’s July 4th Fireworks Viewing Party are $30. Children 3 and under are free and do not require a ticket. Circle Level Museum Members Get 20% Off General Admission.
There is a limit of 6 tickets per transaction. Once tickets are sold out, no additional tickets will be added.
Do Museum Members get a discount or pre-sale before tickets go on sale to the public?
Due to the limited capacity, there are no pre-sale ticket options. Circle Level Members will receive a 20% discount.
Are there group ticket options for sale for this event?
Group sale tickets are not available for this event. Due to popularity, there is a 6 ticket maximum per transaction for this event.
Can I get a refund on my ticket if I am unable to attend?
No. Tickets are nonrefundable.
Can a ticket be transferred to a friend or family member if I am unable to attend?
Yes. Please make sure everyone has their ticket in advance. Also make sure you provide them with all communications from us regarding the event.
Can a cell phone be used to show proof of ticket purchase?
No. Your tickets must be printed.
Can I buy a meal onsite if I do not purchase in advance?
Yes, you can purchase meals onsite if you do not order in advance. Ticket holders will receive a pre-sale meal link via email.
Will there be other food/drink options available for sale?
Yes. There will be an assortment of concessions available for purchase. Midway’s Beverage services will also offer alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Can I rent out an area or the entire ship for private or VIP viewing for this event?
Private functions or VIP viewing options are not available on this date. To book a private event onboard at a different date, visit our Event page here.
Are elevators available to board the ship?
Yes, passenger elevators are available for wheelchair usage and guests with difficulty climbing stairs. To ease the process and eliminate additional waiting time, we request that only one caregiver accompany the elevator user. The rest of the group may use the other designated entrance locations.
What is the parking situation?
Due to the holiday, parking is very limited along the waterfront. Guests are encouraged to take public transportation or ride share services to avoid parking and traffic issues. For more information about directions and parking, click here.
How long will it take us to board?
Boarding time can vary. Each guest must go through a mandatory safety check of all bags which can take additional time during the boarding process. Your patience during this time is appreciated. Compliance with Midway’s Bag Policy will greatly expedite this process.

To ensure our guests’ safety and to get all guests onboard as quickly as possible, please review the following safety measures:
What is permitted onboard?
- Bags, backpacks, purses, tote bags, diaper bags that are no larger than 14” X 14” X 6”
- All plastic water bottles must have factory seal intact
- Strollers and wheelchairs, only if appropriately occupied by an individual
- Lightweight lawn chairs and blankets. Seating will not be provided. Placement for your chairs and blankets will be first come/first served.
- Service animals are permitted. Please note, fireworks will be taking place.
Prohibited items include, but are not limited to the following:
What is prohibited onboard?
- You may NOT bring food or drinks on board for this event. Only factory-sealed water bottles will be permitted.
- The USS Midway is a non-smoking facility, no cigarettes including e-cigarettes are allowed.
- You may NOT bring reusable water containers, opened water bottles, alcohol, or glass containers of any kind.
- You may NOT bring briefcases, luggage, wagons, inflatable or bean-bag seating, unoccupied strollers, or wheelchairs.
