THE REMEMBRANCE WALL
GOLD STAR FAMILIES
The Navy recognizes that no one has given more for our nation than the families of our deceased service members. The Navy Gold Star (NGS) program is the Navy’s institutionalized long-term survivor assistance program to foster resiliency and create a culture or remembrance. It’s primary focus and mission is to provide an unprecedented level of service and commitment to our Navy Gold Star Families who’s Sailor died while on Active Duty, no matter the cause of death, or those designated as Prisoner of War/Missing in Action (POW/MIA). Survivors will remain part of the Navy Family and are always welcome to contact their NGS Coordinator to receive assistance for as long as they desire.
