Safety Ambassador Volunteer
Safety Officer/Ambassador Job Description:
- Help ensure the safety and enjoyment of guests from around the world
- Patrol all areas of the ship during daytime museum hours as well as at special events and military ceremonies
- Provide basic first aid
- Respond to emergency situations
Minimum Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- Physically fit; able to climb up and down the ship’s ladders
- Computer literate
- Prior experience in customer service, military, nursing, Fire Fighting, EMT, paramedic, or law enforcement is helpful but not required
Commitment:
- Any day of the week
- Flexible start/end times
- Able to commit to 20 hours a month (flexible schedule)
