Featured Lesson Plans

The USS Midway Institute for Teachers has brought our expert academics together with teachers to develop high quality lesson plans revolving around our professional development programs.  The lessons are intended to be used for grades 6-12 and are designed to be highly flexible and easily modified to meet the individual needs of teachers.  Each lesson has a variety of supporting resources including primary sources, classroom activities, PowerPoint presentations, etc. We work with Midway teachers each summer to continue to expand our educational lessons and resources in our ever-growing online resource offerings.  The lessons below are highlights from our most recently developed material.
